Schedule Change: Team and individual pictures will be held on Wednesday, April 2 at the Walden Firehouse at the following times:
T-Ball 5:00 - 5:45
Coach Pitch 5:45 - 6:30
Minor Baseball and Softball 6:30 - 7:00
Major Baseball and Softball 7:00 - 7:30
Junior / Senior Baseball and Softball 7:30 - 8:00
I would like to thank immediate past President Dave Green and his wife Darlene for their outstanding service and dedication to the Walden Little League over the past 3 years, under their leadership the Walden Little League has made great strides in improving the program for the children of Walden. Also deserving credit for their dedicated service are outgoing board members - Vice President Greg Holbert, Treasurer Sarah Cocks, Secretary Ann Colgan and Chief Umpire John Ciardullo. The work that the previous board accomplished can not be duplicated by simply replacing 6 individuals.
Realizing this, we will be utilizing more of the offices described in our By-Laws which until now were vacant.
We will be looking for increased participation from all of our league families in any way that they think they may be able to help, no matter how small it may seem. Dedication to a program for the development of our children is something that we must all share in and the incoming Board of Directors hopes that we will be able to count on our league families so that we can continue to improve the Walden Little League.
Board Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at the field beginning at 7:00 PM, anyone is invited to attend, see important dates for more information on meeting dates
Anyone wishing to volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors should contact Bill Pullar at waldenlittleleague@frontiernet.net , we have new positions this year.
